Eggless Carrot Cake Recipe

I am grateful to my best friend “Angie” for this nice recipe. I loved the taste of cake  despite being egg-less. The flavor  of carrot and orange tingles ones taste buds. The preparation is very easy and needs very less time and hence can be baked just before coffee time.


    Ingredients IMG_6089

  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups cake flour/ maida
  • 15 gm ( 3 tsp) backing powder
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest


  • Preheat oven at 175°C
  • Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl

  • Pour into a greased baking pan. Bake at 175° C for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
