Fresh Turmeric,Ginger & Green chilli Pickle is very easy and simple to make and also very healthy. It’s one of the most simplest pickle made with just few ingredients.
Its a Gujarati cuisine, learnt it from my guju freind.
Indian Pickles generally contain a lot of spices, oil and salt. But this is one pickle which does not have any spices or oil.
This pickle is just made with fresh turmeric root, ginger and chillies with salt
and lemon juice.Some of my pickles usually go wrong but this one its never.
25 grams Turmeric Roots
25 grams Ginger Roots
5-6 Green chillies
1/2 tablespoon Salt
3-4 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Take nice and fresh turmeric roots & ginger
Wash both of them in water for few minutes
Peal them and chop them finely
Now in a bowl or jar add chopped turmeric,ginger and chillies.
Add lemon juice and salt. Mix well.
Fresh Turmeric & Ginger pickle is ready.
Serve it with regular home cooked food
If you want to store it longer than , shake the jar every few days.
Always store it in the refrigerator.
